Windard Terrace Bus Shelter
It has come to our attention that the bus shelter at Windard Terrace is not used due to it being in the wrong orientation to view the awaited bus! Sourton Parish Council would like to hear from anyone or if anyone knows someone, who still uses the bus shelter at Windard Terrace. We are looking at a possible alternative use for the bus shelter that could benefit the community. Some possibilities are:
-Gallery to exhibit art from a local school
-A second defibrillator
-Free library
-Community hub – combination of some of the above ideas
-Herb garden
-Storage for sand and sand bags in event of flooding
Any further ideas would be much appreciated, including joint use if it is still required for use as a shelter as the buses are still running as normal. Please contact the clerk either by email on parishclerk@sourtonpc.org.uk or by phone 01837 871308 or contact a councillor. All information is available on the website at www.sourtonpc.org.uk
Thank you
