Migration and Resettlement Team
Devon County Council

If anyone you know may find it useful, there’s an English class at Okehampton library, Fridays at 3.45 – 5.45pm? People are welcome to attend even if they have English elsewhere.

I have attached a Directory of services for communities in Devon (click here)– voluntary organisations, public services, networks, and other services. People can contact any organisation in the Directory for support they need. Hopefully some useful information in there😊

My team offers employment support for migrants, refugees looking for jobs (or different jobs). Helping with writing CVs, interviews, job searching, looking for training etc. People can either go to Tavistock library work club on Wednesday from 10am-1pm. Or they can email me to ask for help, and I can help online.

Finally – if you know anyone from ethnically diverse communities who is an experienced musician, artist, writer, photographer or film-maker, please get in touch – we would be interested in working with them to produce music, film, art for the West Devon community.
